Matt is an awesome addition to our line up of Braw Athletes with his fierce performance on ice while rocking a pretty impressive beard. Ice hockey fans will have heard his name before, he’s had an incredible career so far in the states having been poached to play for some big teams in the NHL. With 3 years experience, in 2003 Matt was selected as the NHL 99th overall by the Dallas Stars. He was then sent to The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s in Victoriaville and finally turned pro in the Finnish SM-liiga
, playing with Ässät
only 2 years later. Having travelled the globe he now successfully plays for The Belfast Giants following two seasons in Scotland representing The Fife Flyers.
Braw Meets Matt
‘As a new Braw Ambassador we want to introduce you to our Brawtherhood, so first things first, What is your favourite Braw Product?’
“Fave product… Tough one. But I’d say right now a toss up between Wulver beard oil and beard butter or Anniversary 12/15 and beard butter.
‘When did you become aware of Braw Beard Oils?’
“I became aware of BBO in 2013 when I was playing in Scotland.”
‘What made you want to be involved with the brand?’
“I wanted to be involved with the brand because it’s a quality product, made by top quality people.”
This guy definitely bring’s a fierce edge to the ice and he definitely doesn’t disappoint his fans. In terms of defense, we wouldn’t mess with him! Matt’s set himself the challenge to score 20 goals in this season, here’s an interview with him on his determination to succeed!
